Awards

 

  • Awards will be given to the top finishers for each gender in following groups:

    • Overall

    • 14 & Under 

    • 15-21

    • 22-35

    • 36-55

    • 55+

    • Depending on Age Demographics, Age Groups May be Added or Removed

  • Prizes include gift cards, goods as well as medals.

  • All Children Participating in the 1/2 mile race will be given finisher awards

Raceday Schedule

 

  • The race will be held on March 9, 2013

  • Raceday registration and packet pickup from 8:00 AM to 8:50 AM

  • 5k will begin at 9:00 AM

  • Kids 1/2 Mile Race at 10:00 AM

  • Awards at 10:15 AM

  • Post-Race Snacks Provided

  • Race will begin and finish by the Upper Merion Track

    • Minutes from the mall and all highways

  • Lots of Parking will be available in the rear of the middle school and by the High School

  • Bathrooms and facilities will be provided on-site

The Race

This race will be 5000 meters (3.12 miles) in length and will be run on roads, sidewalks, track and grass. The course will be well marked and all 5000m of the race will be located within the Upper Merion campus. There willl be no traffic along the route. The race will start and finish near the Upper Merion Track. Water will be available along the race route. The race will be timed using bib timing and results will be posted online promptly.

 

The kids 1/2 mile race will be 2 laps run around the track. 

 

The Cost of the Race is $15. Money will benefit Upper Merion Cross Country.
